LAUNCH 2026

Camp Yale First-Year Pre-orientation Program focused on impact and entrepreneurship

Overview

LAUNCH is focused on helping incoming students make the biggest impact with their lives through entrepreneurship. During LAUNCH, you’ll hear from leading founders, meet the alumni and students who’ve shaped Yale’s entrepreneurship community, and engage in collaborative workshops at Yale’s Tsai CITY and entrepreneurial hubs around New Haven.

For Pre-frosh

What is LAUNCH? Why LAUNCH? TL;DR: LAUNCH helps incoming students make the biggest impact with their lives through entrepreneurship. You’ll hear from top founders, meet the people behind Yale’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, and participate in hands-on workshops at Tsai CITY and across New Haven. LAUNCH is for anyone who wants to change the world, whether through arts, startups, nonprofits, or social impact. No prior entrepreneurial experience is required—just a desire to grow, build, and get involved with some of Yale’s most driven people. See you in August!

For Student Leaders

Helping to shape the next generation of Yale entrepreneurs.

What is LAUNCH?

LAUNCH is a Camp Yale program focused on helping incoming students develop the skills for innovation and entrepreneurship. We’re looking for student leaders to help run it. Programming includes collaborative workshops, alumni speakers, and bonding activities. In past years, speakers have included leaders like Max Mullen (Instacart), Michael Seibel (Twitch, Y Combinator), Anne Wojcicki (23andMe), and more. Students explore resources across Yale, including Tsai CITY and CEID, while discovering how to build, create, and contribute to a more inclusive entrepreneurial community.
